Exercise is Medicine

1) To raise awareness of the health risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle and the health and wellness benefits of exercise and daily physical activity.  In other words, we can educate students about “why” a sedentary lifestyle is risky and “why” exercise is an effective medicine for them both now and in the future.

2) To provide information about opportunities for students to be physically active in their daily lives and on campus.  This shows students “how” they can become more active and derive the benefits of exercise.
